Sara Lovari

Sara Lovari is born in Avena de’ Poppi, Tuscany, in 1979. After graduating in Economics, she moves to England, where in 2007, she makes her debut as artist. Since then, she appeared in numerous performances and expositions, both collective and personal. In 2014, she is a finalist at the Mondadori award, and she wins the Adrenalina award, in the category New Proposals, in Rome. A year later, she is finalist at the Catel awards, in the Scuderie Aldobrandini of Frascati. 2015 is also the year of her personal exposition “Les Objects” at the Etruscan Museum in Cortona. In October of that year she wins a scholarship from Oklahoma university, the “Art Residence Norman USA”; Where she creates works on site relating to the journey’s theme.
In 2016, she wins the Gold Adrenalina Award. The following year, she exposes at the Hurricane Biennale at the Oklahoma National Weather Center.
Sara’s work is characterized by the use of warm colors, inspired by earth and nature. She applies mix media such as ancient maps, books from the 19th century, and sculpture-painting. Highly esteemed by critics, by collectors and by the general public, Sara lives and works in the Arezzo area.
